“Fun to Be Female” Charm, Poise & Etiquette for Young Ladies
Can it be, a modern day finishing school in NH?
A dynamic program that will focus on techniques of poise, personal style, charm and various aspects of etiquette for young ladies. You can “be your best” while working on areas of self-confidence. A small class size allows students an opportunity to be comfortable. A fun filled class perfect for young ladies who aspire to achieve grace, poise and confidence.
Session 1 Welcome and Introduction Etiquette, Individual Herbal Foot Soak, Circle-Talk about qualities of poise and role models.
Session 2 Facial expressions and what they convey to others. Circle-Talk about smiles and famous females; Jacqueline Kennedy, Jennifer Hudson, Audrey Hepburn, Princess Diana, Queen Latifah and other women with poise and presence. Mirror activity to focus on facial features and smiles. Learn about correct form of posture while standing, walking and sitting.
Session 3 Time to Walk the Red Carpet. Learn the graceful whisper-walk style. Activity: walk the “red carpet” in heels practicing the whisper walk. Circle-talk about first impressions. Tips on clothing selections to “suit” the occassion.
Session 4 Social Mingling. Learn and practice how to eat appetizers/mini pastries while standing up and holding a beverage. Conversation openers. Protocol for award acceptance. Sessions culminate with a Presentation of Certificate of Completion and celebration. Parents invited.
